Laboratory Analyst IV - Eurofins Environment Testing Northeast - North Kingstown, RI

Laboratory Analyst IV performs environmental sample analysis using advanced instrumentation and scientific methods at an analytical testing facility. The role involves instrument operation, data validation, LIMS management, and mentoring of junior analysts, requiring a chemistry degree and minimum six years of laboratory experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, batch, and analyze environmental samples using appropriate methodologies and instrumentation
• Perform Level I and II data reviews for accuracy and compliance with procedures
• Upload analytical results into LIMS system to generate client data packages
• Schedule sample workload based on due dates and sample integrity requirements
• Assist in training lower-level analysts and cover supervisor duties as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field, or 3 years laboratory experience as substitute
• Minimum 6 years laboratory experience, preferably in production environment
• Proficiency operating GC-MS, GC-QQQ, GC-FID, GC-ECD, ICP-OES, ICP-MS, or wet chemistry instruments
• Strong mathematics background and knowledge of scientific methods and SOPs
• Computer and laboratory software proficiency including LIMS systems
• Laboratory safety knowledge and problem-solving skills
• U.S. work authorization and professional English proficiency

Compensation: $33-42/hr depending on experience
