QA Automation Engineer - Remote / Telecommute

Job Title
Job Overview: Pay Range: $40hr - $43hr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, and Appium.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Support API automation testing and validation.
- Create and maintain test plans, test strategies, and detailed test cases.
- Ensure end-to-end test coverage for critical business workflows.
- Identify, log, and track defects, and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline integration for automated test execution.
- Perform functional/manual testing as needed following an SDET approach.
Required Skills And Experience
- Strong experience in test automation using Java, Selenium, and Appium.
- Experience with web and mobile application testing.
- Exposure to API automation and testing methodologies.
- Knowledge of Agile development practices and QA processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
