Case Processing Analyst

About the Position Salary: $3,861.00 - $6,276.00 per Month. New to State candidates will be hired at the minimum salary of the classification or the minimum of the alternate range when applicable. Final Filing Date: 6/6/2026. Responsibilities Under the direction of the Supervisor I, the analyst manages complete background check applications for the Care Provider Management Branch (CPMB). The analyst applies analytical skills and program knowledge to efficiently handle a full caseload, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately, in compliance with regulations, and within established timelines while achieving high‑quality results. Qualifications Knowledge of background check processes and program requirements. Proficiency with the Background Check Case Management System, Licensing Information System (LIS), and California Comprehensive Licensing and Disclosure (CCLD) laws, rules, and regulations. Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other common software programs. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Desirable Qualifications Ability to apply current laws, rules, and policies accurately. Ability to interact professionally with integrity and respect. Ability to balance multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities. Strong collaboration skills with internal and external partners.
