Position Maintenance & Mechanic - Production Location Woodburn, IN Job Id 310 # of Openings 1 We are seeking a proactive and skilled Production & Facility Maintenance person to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our manufacturing and facility environments. This vital role involves performing maintenance, troubleshooting equipment, and supervising maintenance activities to uphold safety, efficiency, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will bring a strong mechanical background and facility repair, along with fostering a safe, productive workplace. General Duties Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, and facility infrastructure to minimize downtime. React and respond in a timely manner to urgent breakdowns. Assist with installation and assembly of equipment. Comply with all safety regulations. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control issues utilizing diagnostic tools. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to enhance equipment lifespan and performance. Oversee facilities maintenance tasks including plumbing, HVAC systems, lighting, and general repairs to ensure operational continuity. Maintain accurate maintenance records, update logs regularly, and plan scheduled inspections to prevent equipment failure. Lead safety initiatives related to facilities maintenance activities while promoting best practices in manufacturing environments. Qualifications Proven experience with facilities maintenance in manufacturing or industrial settings. Strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to do general facility upkeep and maintenance. Ability to operate diagnostic tools effectively.
