Warehouse Associate - 1st Shift

About the Opportunity:• Job Title: Warehouse Associate• Pay Rate Range: $20.00-$25.00/hr• Location: Minnetonka, MN• Schedule: 1st Shift Monday-Friday 7:30AM-4PM• Position Type: Temp to HireRequirements and Qualifications:Experience/Education:• Minimum High school diploma or GED.• Forklift experience is highly preferred.• 2 years work experience in a warehouse/shipping environment.Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:• An ability to work within a team environment and help the team become better.• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Gets things done.• Models our Core Values in every aspect of the job requirements.• Extremely detailed individual with a factual communication style.• Excel in a fast-paced environment.• Thrives in a structured environment.• Self-sufficient and quick when completing the work at hand.Duties and Responsibilities:• Loads and unloads trucks according to established procedures and shipping regulations.• Pick orders from stock or from staging area and prepare product for shipping to customers which include packing in boxes, on pallets, and shrink wrapping when necessary.• Ensure customer order and product match; double check and ensure all orders are correct with product and quantity before shipping.• Load trucks with outgoing products and unload trucks with incoming materials.• Verify the quantity and quality of material received.• Place incoming materials into storage.• Affix completed address label and any other special labels required for the handling of material and specified by the carrier.• Complete and maintain all required paperwork.• Maintain departmental housekeeping standards.• Process recycled products.• Other duties as assigned.Discover Award Staffing: At Award Staffing, we believe that work should be more than just a paycheck-it should inspire, empower, and create a sense of purpose.
