Class A Driver

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Class A Drivers for a contract assignment supporting warehouse driving services and mobile trailer operations in the Norwalk, CA area, with orientation in City of Industry and project work based in Commerce, CA. This role is ideal for professional CDL Class A drivers who are dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable towing 35-foot trailers to designated locations.

This project offers a structured team environment where drivers work closely with unit leadership and other field staff to support time-sensitive operations. Candidates who enjoy hands-on work, teamwork, clear direction, and active field support will be a strong fit for this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

- Tow 35-foot trailers to and from assigned mobile locations safely and efficiently.
- Perform on-site setup, breakdown, storage, and handling of trailers and related equipment.
- Conduct required pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and trailers.
- Assist the Unit Lead and team members with daily operational needs.
- Remain actively engaged throughout each shift and support team workflow as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures, driving requirements, and assignment protocols.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay rate: $25.00 per hour.
- Job type: Contract/Temporary.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Overtime, extended daily shifts, weekends, holidays, double time, and up to 7 consecutive workdays may be requested during the project.
- Assignment duration: Friday, 10/02/2026 to Friday, 11/06/2026.
- Orientation date: Thursday, 10/01/2026.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Valid Class A driver's license required.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant commercial driving or truck driving experience preferred based on role level.
- Must be available to work all requested hours, including overtime, weekends, holidays, double time, and consecutive workdays during the project.
- Must be able to complete any required Live Scan process.
- Strong safety mindset with knowledge of commercial vehicle inspection standards.
- Ability to follow instructions, communicate professionally, and work well in a team environment.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality required for the full assignment duration.
