PRN CT Technologist Position

BJC HealthCare System is hiring a PRN CT Technologist for Christian Hospital (11133 Dunn Rd, St. Louis, MO) - Christian Northeast.

Position Details:

• Day PRN Shift: Work as needed – Shift coverage needed will be 7am-7:30pm on weekdays & weekends
• Advanced Modality Cat Scan Technologist position
• Preferred experience 1 year CT experience, registered CT tech RT(R)(CT)(ARRT), and Siemens experience
• Location is near: Alton, IL / Godfrey, IL/ Edwardsville, IL / Collinsville, IL / Granite City, IL/ Bridgeton, MO / Saint Ann, MO / Roxana, IL / Wood River, IL / Spanish Lake, MO / Bethalto, IL / Florissant, MO / Black Jack

Requirements:

• Associate degree or higher in related field
• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R)

Northwest HealthCare, six miles west of Christian, offers 24-hour emergency care, the Sleep Disorders Center and a variety of outpatient diagnostic and imaging services.

Cat Scan at NWHC has state of the art Siemens Somaton Sensation 16 slice scanner. This technology allows for faster scan time & less radiation dose to the patient. CT offers same day service.

Preferred Qualifications:

Role Purpose: Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.

Responsibilities:

• Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
• Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area.
