Director of Finance And Accounting - Contract to Hire LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a Hospital located on the southside of Chicago that is looking to bring on a Director of Finance & Accounting on a possible contract to hire basis. The opportunity is 100% onsite and the position would require the candidate to drive and implement process improvement in the accounting department. The person taking on this Director of Finance & Accounting would be responsible for the following duties: Responsibilities: Manage the month end close function Be responsible for creating monthly/quarterly financials Present monthly/quarterly results to senior leadership Supervise 4 employees that are responsible for payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month end close Review the month end close function and identify areas for improvement; implement process improvements; and document procedures Prepare monthly reporting for leadership's review Qualifications: Bachelor's in accounting or finance is required CPA or MBA is desired 5-7+ years of hospital accounting experience required Prior supervisory experience is required Prior experience implementing process improvements in the month end function is required Prior experience using Paragon software and advanced excel skills are required Seniority level: Director Employment type: Contract Job function: Accounting/Auditing Industries: Hospitals and Health Care Apply to this Director of Finance and Accounting opportunity today!! #J-18808-Ljbffr LHH
