Position Overview

Utilizing advanced ultrasound technology, you will conduct a variety of diagnostic evaluations, collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare providers, and provide patients with comfort and clarity through precise imaging.

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct an array of ultrasound examinations, such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, carefully explaining each step with empathy
• Work in conjunction with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging
• Utilize and maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly reporting any technical issues
• Thoroughly document procedures and maintain accurate patient records within the electronic medical system
• Stay abreast of innovations in ultrasound imaging techniques and their applications

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Active certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed

• Proficient technical skills in sonographic imaging and patient positioning
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
