Position: Clinical Manager – Emergency Department
Location: Danville, Virginia
Type: Full-Time | Permanent
Salary: $83,616 – $108,160 Annually
Additional Benefits: $20,000 Sign-On Bonus
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing departmental goals, standards, and operational objectives aligned with organizational strategy
- Manage staff performance, scheduling, recruitment, payroll, and employee engagement
- Oversee staff development, education, and retention initiatives
- Monitor departmental budgets, compliance, contracts, and vendor relationships
- Coordinate high-quality patient care with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
- Support patient transfers, discharge planning, and continuity of care
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and evidence-based practices
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment focused on clinical excellence and professional growth
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and operational planning
- Provide clinical support and patient care when necessary
Qualifications:-
Required:
- Active Virginia RN License or Compact RN License
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department RN experience
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory, management, or Charge Nurse experience in a patient care setting
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- PALS Certification or ENPC Certification
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care hospital leadership experience
- TNCC Certification
