Position: Clinical Manager – Emergency Department

Location: Danville, Virginia
Type: Full-Time | Permanent
Salary: $83,616 – $108,160 Annually
Additional Benefits: $20,000 Sign-On Bonus

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing departmental goals, standards, and operational objectives aligned with organizational strategy
• Manage staff performance, scheduling, recruitment, payroll, and employee engagement
• Oversee staff development, education, and retention initiatives
• Monitor departmental budgets, compliance, contracts, and vendor relationships
• Coordinate high-quality patient care with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
• Support patient transfers, discharge planning, and continuity of care
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and evidence-based practices
• Foster a collaborative and positive work environment focused on clinical excellence and professional growth
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and operational planning
• Provide clinical support and patient care when necessary

Qualifications:-

Required:

• Active Virginia RN License or Compact RN License
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department RN experience
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory, management, or Charge Nurse experience in a patient care setting
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• PALS Certification or ENPC Certification

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Acute care hospital leadership experience
• TNCC Certification
