Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Press Cell Lead to join their team. As a Press Cell Lead, you will be part of the Extrusion Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Press Cell Lead
Location: Alexandria, MN
Pay Range: $21+/hour
Shift: Monday-Wednesday 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, Thursday 6:30 PM - 12:30 AM
What's the Job?
- Exhibit active leadership to model and support the company's vision and strategies
- Build and maintain strong relationships within the department to support team members
- Ensure the department has the necessary tools and resources for efficient operations
- Provide leadership to extrusion team members, including participating in hiring processes
- Apply continuous improvement techniques to enhance department performance and quality standards
What's Needed?
- High school diploma/ GED required
- At least 1 year of manufacturing experience
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a manufacturing environment
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience with process improvement methodologies
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Willingness to work in a night shift schedule
