Mobile Heavy Equipment TechnicianCompany: Peak JCBLocation: Missoula, MTResponsibilities:Repairs heavy equipment engine and componentsAble to read schematics (both electrical and hydraulic)Prepares inspection and appraisal reportsCorrectly charges work to appropriate work order segmentsPrepares accurate and complete service reports and turns them in on timeCommunicates effectively with Service Writer, and/or Shop Manager to ensure problems, nature of repair, and status of repairs are understood and followed up onCleans, repairs, reconditions, and maintains equipment and componentsRemoves, disassembles, assembles, and installs components and partsOrders replacement parts, ensuring that parts orders are correct and complete at the time of orderTests, measures, and adjusts engine and machine systems and componentsDiagnoses and repairs machine and engine malfunctions and failuresKeeps up to date with developments in tooling, technologies, and systemsUses safe working practices and follows all company safety requirementsWorks on rotating on call schedule as neededAlways considers updates and developments to ensure ongoing efficiencies and development of the departmentAssists with truck and trailer repair jobs for our other company brands as needed - training can be providedOther duties as assigned.Requirements:Experience performing repairs on JCB, Bobcat, John Deere, Case, CAT, Kubota or other construction/agricultural equipmentStrong skills in hydraulics, electrical, and diesel mechanicsExperience with truck and trailer repair highly preferredTeam-oriented and committed to quality workAbility to learn company policies and procedures and complete documentation accurately and thoroughlyAbility to diagnose and repair complex issues w/ little to no supervisionComputer skillsOwn common tools for repairing equipment and provide tool inventory for insurance coverageMaintain valid driver's license with a clean MVR & obtain DOT Medical Card (to drive CMV)Pass background check and pre-employment drug-screenBenefits:Competitive hourly rate; DOEOpportunity for growth and developmentM-F schedule (some OT); paid holidaysPaid Time Off (PTO) Accrual of 3+ weeksGroup Health, Dental, Vision401k Retirement Planning w/ company matchPeak Industrial Company is made up of four different businesses that span across Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Utah, Montana, and Texas.
