Temp-to-Hire

1 st Shift

M-F 7:00AM-3:30PM (flexibility for OT when needed)

$17.00/hr

Overview:

Team member will primarily powder paint parts or wash parts. As needed, will

be asked to perform other tasks

Responsibilities:
• Willing to learn the powder coating process and achieve significant level of expertise.
• Visually inspect parts prior to and after powder coating.
• Become able to apply powder coat paint evenly to parts to ensure consistent paint finish within

thickness tolerances
• Maintain paint guns and related equipment, follow good housekeeping of work area
• Will rotate in/out of the paint booth to keep multiple painters trained.
• May operate ovens and monitor temperatures and cycle times.
• Willing to learn the wash process and achieve a significant level of expertise.
• Visually inspect parts prior to and after wash process.
• Must be willing to accept and receive supervisor interaction and assistance with regard to

performing tasks
• Detects and reports defective parts or other materials or questionable conditions to

management.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed

safety regulations.
• Other duties may include loading and unloading parts, plugging, masking, or cleaning parts,

monitoring quality, package parts for handling, and routine maintenance and clean-up in the

paint department

Qualifications:
• 0-2 years' experience.
• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is preferred.
• Experience with powder coating application or liquid paint application is a plus, but not

required.
• Able to read to read and interpret documents such as work instructions, part drawings,

etc.

Working Conditions:
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds and carry it 50 feet.
• Standing for long periods of time.
• Able to wear the appropriate PPE as determined by management
• Able to work in different temperature climates.
• Available to work overtime (Saturdays and/or longer hours).
