Visiting Angels is looking for compassionate, dependable, and professional Caregivers to provide one-on-one support to seniors and adults with disabilities in the comfort of their own homes. As a caregiver, you can make a meaningful difference every day while helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and as independent as possible. What You'll Do
- Provide companionship and meaningful conversation
- Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding
- Prepare meals and assist with meal planning
- Provide medication reminders
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry
- Run errands and grocery shop
- Provide transportation and accompany clients to appointments
- Assist with activities of daily living
- Document visits and care and clock ins and outs using a smartphone
- Day shifts
- Evening shifts
- Weekend shifts
- Overnight shifts
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience caring for seniors and/or adults with disabilities, professionally or personally
- CNA/LNA experience or certification is a plus
- Dementia/Alzheimer's experience is a plus
- Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional
- Must genuinely enjoy assisting others
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to reach, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable vehicle
- Active automobile insurance required
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Comfortable using a smartphone to clock in/out and complete documentation
