• Electrical, Electronic, and Electromechanical Assemblers, Except Coil Winders, Tapers, and Finishers LL.US.51-2028
• The Production Worker performs a variety of manufacturing and production activities in support of defense products and operations.
• Responsibilities may include mechanical assembly, inspection, rework, material handling, equipment operation, and other production-related tasks in accordance with engineering specifications, work instructions, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• This position supports production goals through quality workmanship, flexibility across work areas, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Read, understand, and interpret work instructions (written and verbal) to complete manufacturing and production tasks according to established guidelines, procedures, and quality standards.
• Read, learn, understand, and comply with all safety requirements and RTX processes and procedures.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools following approved methods and procedures to complete assembly and production activities.
• Report issues related to quality, processes, equipment, and materials to Supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area to support manufacturing operations.
• Apply problem-solving and troubleshooting techniques while working collaboratively to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform quality checks throughout the production process to ensure products meet established standards.
• Identify product defects and complete required documentation when defects are found.
• Rework and/or repair products in accordance with engineering specification changes.
• Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to cross-train in other departments and perform additional production-related duties as business needs require.
• Actively participate in lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying opportunities and providing recommendations for process improvements.
• Observe all safety requirements and maintain a Foreign Object Damage (FOD) free work environment.
• Ensure equipment is calibrated and used in accordance with established calibration schedules.

Requirements:

• Basic reading comprehension skills with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions and complete required documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and self-motivation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and online communication systems.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
