Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Physical Therapist — Outpatient — Crosby, TX Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist opportunity in Crosby, TX, where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. The role focuses on evaluation, individualized 60-minute evaluation plus treatment, development and modification of treatment plans, delegation of discipline-specific therapy services, patient and family education, and documentation in accordance with regulatory and clinic requirements. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Texas physical therapy license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings preferred. Ability to complete comprehensive evaluations, write functional goals, and develop treatment plans focused on return to community activities. Experience with documentation, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines. Demonstrated ability to supervise and support students and other therapy staff, when assigned. Adherence to state Practice Act, professional code of conduct, and completion of required continuing education. Preferred Qualifications Prior travel therapy experience preferred. Experience with 60-minute evaluations and one-on-one treatment sessions preferred. Participation in performance improvement initiatives and familiarity with clinical outcome measures preferred.
