Licensed Practical Nurse - Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Missouri Schools for the Severely Disabled Salary: $38,208 Note: The salary range listed in this job description is a base salary. Applicants eligible for years‑of‑service adjustments or shift differentials may exceed the salary range listed above. What You’ll Do Coordinate and implement a plan for health screenings. Coordinate, design and implement special health care procedures. Provide training on lifting techniques, basic first aid, infection control procedures, administering medication, CPR and other in‑service as needed. Administer medication and other health care procedures according to physician orders. Participate in staffing and IEP conferences to provide information on the student’s physical and health needs when requested. Oversee all SHCP. Make sure they are completed correctly and all necessary supplies are available. Notify parents if additional supplies are needed. Take a leadership role in developing and implementing a comprehensive school health plan. Accurately complete required reports on or before established deadlines. Collaborate with building administrator to maintain an orderly, attractive, safe, clean environment. Maintain CPR training instructor certification and basic CPR certification. Maintain confidentiality of parent, student and staff personally identifiable information. All You Need For Success Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Missouri. Experience with pediatrics and/or individuals with disabilities preferred. The position requires a professional license pursuant to state law.
