We're hiring reliable, experienced Security Officers to join us on both a Full-Time & Part-Time Schedules! The person in this position will maintain a safe and secure indoor environment for clients, customers, contractors and other workers by patrolling, tagging indicated checkpoints, monitoring premises, writing a detailed DAR entry and occasionally performing search procedures.Prosegur offers a whole suite of benefit options. We offer competitive wages and exciting company resources.Responsibilities:Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security/safety of premisesCirculate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect propertyGuard, patrol, and monitor industrial or commercial premises to prevent safety hazards, theft, violence, or infractions of rulesEnforce rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, and respond to emergency situations requiring security assistanceEscort on foot or by motor vehicle to transport individuals to specified locations or to provide personal protection or to escort persons off customer propertyWrite detailed narrative reports and maintain daily activity reports (DARs)Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional mannerMonitor for irregular or unusual activitySecure facility and designated areasEnforce facility and company policies and proceduresInvestigate and prepare reports on incidentsAdhere to Post OrdersQualifications:High school diploma or GED equivalentMust have one (1) year of experience as a security officerMust have open availability to work all shifts and schedules as neededMust have reliable transportationMust have a valid Driver's License with a clean and clear driving recordMust have good communications skillsAbility to stand or walk for long periodsMust be able to walk/run flights of stairs on a daily basis.Ability to think clearly during crisis or high-stress periodsMust be reliable, have a positive attitude, and uphold ethical behaviorPhysical Requirements:Walk and stand for extended periods (including completing multiple rounds and patrols of up to 1–2 miles per shift)Frequently climb stairs, ramps, or ladders as required by site patrol routesWork indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditionsMaintain alertness and situational awareness during all patrolsOccasionally lift and/or move up to 25 poundsThese physical requirements are essential to performing the job successfully.
