Demolition Laborer

Responsibilities

  • Assist with site preparation by clearing debris, sorting materials for recycling or disposal, and setting up safety barriers.
  • Support construction management by adhering to safety protocols, inspecting sites regularly, and documenting progress with detailed reports.
  • Collaborate with team members on tasks such as concrete breaking, framing removal, roofing teardown, and masonry cleanup.
  • Use construction estimating skills to gauge material needs and assist with project planning.
  • Perform general site cleanup and ensure all work areas comply with safety standards and regulations.

Experience

  • Prior experience working on construction sites or in demolition roles is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings enhances your ability to perform tasks accurately.
  • Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and safety procedures is essential.
  • Knowledge of construction management practices helps coordinate tasks effectively within team environments.
  • Skills in related trades such as plumbing, electrical work, concrete finishing, masonry, or carpentry are advantageous.
  • Ability to identify hazards on-site through construction inspection techniques ensures safety for all team members.
