High Profile Accountant PositionSalary: $80k to $90k plus bonusHigh profile Accountant position with significant exposure to leadership. Successful candidate will have Big 4 experience and the CPA exam or actively pursuing. Top compensation plus long-term incentives. 2 years of experience is required.ResponsibilitiesParticipate on cross-functional teams to ensure proper accounting for entity acquisitions and divestituresReview financial statement accounts by analyzing account balances, researching variations, and obtaining entity commentaryCollaborate with other Finance teams to assist with analysis and to ensure accurate presentation of financial resultsDrive continuous improvement and efficiency in financial reporting by preparing ad hoc analyses/reports and assisting with special projectsProvide accounting guidance/instructions to business divisions/legal entitiesEnsure compliance with Finance policies and procedures, internal controls, and S404 requirementsPrepare consolidation journal entries, including processing post-closing adjustmentsPrepare and reference 10Q/10K footnote disclosuresRequirementsBachelor's Degree2 years of experience in an accounting related role, internal audit, or Big 4 public accountingUnderstanding of the relationship between income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statementAbility to analyze financial reports and to prepare and maintain various supporting schedulesProficient experience working with Microsoft ExcelCPA or MBA a plus
