Key Qualifications:

• Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
• Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology (or related field) from an accredited program
• Experience with assessments, direct student interventions, and development of IEPs
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for consulting with staff, students, and families
• Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and interpret results to guide educational planning
• Deliver counseling and intervention services directly to students as appropriate
• Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, administrators, and families to develop and support effective IEPs and 504 plans
• Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and recommended interventions
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed in the school community
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to timelines for evaluation and compliance
