Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of routine and specialized MRI procedures for inpatients, outpatients, and emergency department patients of all ages.
- Verify physician orders and consult with radiologists as necessary; prepare patient for exam; explain procedures and provide education.
- Adhere to MRI safety standards; administer contrast media per department protocols and patient age-related requirements.
- Assist radiologist with MR procedures as requested; optimize MRI sequences and assess image quality.
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment and related supplies; perform warm-up, calibration, and safety checks; document equipment issues.
- Manage patient data and workflow in the hospital computer system, and communicate findings to the supervising team as appropriate.

Requirements
- ARRT Certification in MRI - Required
- BLS Certification - Required
- Minimum 1 year of recent GE MRI experience - Required
- Ability to work nights and weekends as assigned; adherence to MRI safety standards
- Demonstrated patient education and ability to work with patients of varying ages
