ABOUT OUR AGENCY: I opened my agency in 2014 and today lead a team of seven who take great pride in working together and serving others well. I earned my BA in Business Management in 1987 and am married with three children. Outside the office, I enjoy watching and coaching sports and playing hockey, which reflects the teamwork, discipline, and competitive spirit that carry into our agency.


Giving back is an important part of who we are - we actively support Barbi's Blankets to help cancer patients, the Pass It On Project to support low-income families, and other local New Jersey organizations that make a meaningful impact in our community.

ROLE DESCRIPTION: Scott Klar - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
• Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
• Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
• Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
• Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
• Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Compensation: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
