We are committed to our team and our team is committed to our clients!What We OfferCollaborative environment dedicated to clinical excellenceMultiple Career Development PathwaysCompany Supported Continuing Education & CertificationPPO & HDHP Health Plan OptionsFlexible Dental & Vision Plan Options100% Company Paid EAP Emotional Well-Being Support100% Company Paid Critical Illness (with health enrollment plan)100% Company Paid Life & ADD401K with Company MatchCompany-Sponsored HSA, FSA, & DSA Tax Savings AccountsGenerous Team Member Referral ProgramParental LeaveHow You Will ContributeThe housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment in multiple properties, the resident rooms, common areas, kitchen, and facility grounds.Essential ResponsibilitiesDisposes of trash, vacuums, sweeps, mops, disinfects, polishes areas as assigned.Cleans resident rooms upon discharge and ensures cleanliness upon admission of a new resident.Monitors the availability of current cleaning supplies and notifies supervisor of items in need of replacement.Ensures safe disposal and storage of cleaning supplies, out of the reach of residents.Wears protective gloves when handling chemicals or resident laundry.Complies with the facility safety procedures as outlined in the policy and procedure manual.Assumes assigned role in fire drills, evacuation procedures and internal/external disaster plan.Monitors and controls availability of hazards and contraband in resident areas.Follows proper procedures and timely preparation of Incident Reports and notifies additional staff if required.Maintains patient confidentiality in written and spoken word according to HIPAA Standards.Completes laundry of all linens and towels on a daily basis, including folding.Changes light bulbs in all buildings as needed, excluding those over 8 feet in height.Keeps a daily log of rooms cleaned and linens changed.Empties all trash morning and evening before end of shift.Cleans all resident rooms twice per week, or more if deemed necessary by supervisor.Cleans all windows inside and out once per month, excluding large lobby glass outside, those over 8 feet of height inside, and all outside windows on the second floor.Cleans stepdown houses weekly and checks daily for trash and tidiness.Picks up all cigarette butts throughout the day.Cleans porch glass on a daily basis.Additional:Can be relied upon to be at work as scheduled and is rarely absent from work, notifying the supervisor if absent.Demonstrates an ability to adapt to changes in the facility function, management styles, and facility routines.Reads, understands, and adheres to all company policy statements on ethics, conduct, and conflict of interests.Adheres to facility policies, procedures, rules and regulations, implementing regularly.Other duties as assignedQualificationsWhat We Are SeekingEducation/Experience:Position requires a high school graduate or equivalent.Physical Requirements:While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to communicate with peers/general public, clients and/or vendors to the degree expected by facility standards of practices.Job performance will require the ability to move throughout the building as well as sit or remain stationary for extended periods of time.While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to talk or hear, sit, stand, walk, reach, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, taste or smell.Ability to move and/or lift at least 25 pounds.Skill Competencies:Strong problem solving and analytical skillsAbility to exercise sound judgment and discretionExcellent organizational and time management skillsSuccessful collaborative skills working with a variety of groupsExcellent interpersonal and relationship building skillsAbility to self-manage stressful work environmentLifeskills Behavioral Health Orlando provides equal employment opportunities without regard to race, color, creed, ancestry, national origin, ethnicity, sex, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, religion, age, disability, gender identity, genetic information, service in the military, or any other characteristic protected under applicable federal, state, or local law.
