Banquet Houseperson

Banquet Houseperson Daily set‑up and break‑down of banquet events in a safe and efficient manner. Own the full‑cycle process of cleaning and setting meeting rooms and banquet functions. Vacuum floors, clean walls, windows, and mirrors; properly care for, move, and store equipment including tables, chairs, risers, dance floors, and lecterns as required. Control and store meeting room supplies such as linens, pads, pens/pencils, and meeting amenities. Assist in servicing meeting rooms by removing trash, clearing dirty plates, cups, glasses, and linens; straightening chairs; and replenishing water as specified or requested. Deliver on guests’ expectations and strive to create WOW moments. Perform additional duties as assigned that may be outside the normal scope of duties based on business needs. About You Basic communication skills, passion for providing exceptional service and creating memorable moments, openness to learning and growing, trustworthy and with integrity. Must Haves Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Ability to collaborate in a team environment. Luxury hotel or banquet operations experience, a plus. Ability to stand and exercise mobility for extended periods during the scheduled shift. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and for extended periods. Ability to push and pull food serving equipment and carts weighing up to 200 pounds on a semi‑regular basis. Compensation Part‑time Banquet Houseperson pay scale: $22.43 per hour.
