This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in accuracy, and works well in a fast-paced production environment.What's in it for you?Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Press Operator Details:Temp-to-Hire position$18.00 / hourFull Time work availableSecond Shift (Monday through Friday from 03:00pm to 11:30pm)Set up and operate printing presses according to job specifications.Load paper, ink, plates, and other materials needed for production.Monitor print quality, color consistency, alignment, and registration.Make press adjustments to maintain quality and reduce material waste.Inspect completed products for defects and accuracy.Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance on press equipment.Follow production schedules, safety procedures, and workplace standards.Press Operator Qualifications:Previous printing, press operation, or production experience preferred.Machine operating experience is required.Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.Ability to read and follow job tickets, measurements, and instructions.Basic mechanical ability and comfort troubleshooting equipment.Ability to stand for extended periods and lift production materials.Dependable attendance and ability to work independently or with a team.Ability to lift 50 pounds.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
