Role Overview


The Sr. Accountant will play a key role in core accounting operations with a strong emphasis on cost accounting , month?end close , and general ledger ownership . This person will be a critical contributor to an evolving finance function and must bring a growth mindset to keep pace with a dynamic, rapidly scaling organization.


Top Responsibilities

• Lead and support cost accounting activities, including inventory analysis, standard cost updates, and variance review
  
  
• Own key components of the month?end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
  
  
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with strong attention to detail
  
  
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
  
  
• Partner cross?functionally to support continuous improvement and operational efficiency
  
  
• Assist with audits, reporting, and ad?hoc financial analysis as needed

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  
  
• Strong cost accounting background
  
  
• Proven experience with month?end close and general ledger management
  
  
• Solid understanding of GAAP
  
  
• Growth mindset with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast?moving environment
  
  
• Software: NetSuite (preferred), Microsoft Office Suite, strong Excel skills
  
  
• Background: Ideally someone with a blend of public accounting and corporate accounting experience
