Job Description
Saint Alphonsus Boise is seeking a Locums Interventional Radiologist for 1-2 weeks per month ASAP!


Schedule:

START: January 2027
AVAILABILITY: 1 week (7 days, Monday through Sunday) minimum with no exceptions.
Ideal candidate can offer 2 weeks (14 consecutive days) per month
Monday-Friday = 8a-5p + Night Call 5p-8a (0-1 hours of Call Back per Night Call shift)
Sat/Sun = 24 Hour On Call (8a-8a) - (2-3 hours of Call Back per Weekend shift)
Practice Setting: Acute Care Hospital

Saint Alphonsus has a well-established interventional radiology service that includes biplane angiography, MRI MRA, CT/CTA, CT perfusion, 4-vessel angiography, and provides an opportunity for Interventional Radiologists to perform embolization, thrombectomy, venous access, TIPS, aortic dissection, peripheral arterial disease, biopsies, ablations, stent placements, and others based on training and community need.

The Interventional Radiology provider team will include four (4) Interventional Radiologists, and five (5) Advanced Practice Providers trained in support of the Interventional Radiology practice. Hospital Call is split between Radiologists and APPs to minimize call burden and after-hours support requirements.


Cases/Procedures: Must be able to do the following:

Trauma Embolization (Body), Pulmonary Thrombectomy, Gastric tube placement, Biliary/Chole tube placement, Nephrostomy and Ureteral stenting, Dialysis Graft/Fistula stenting, Body Arteriography, IVC Filter placement and Removal. Ideal Procedures- Cryo Ablation, Thermal Ablation, TIPS, Trauma Embolization (Body), Pulmonary Thrombectomy, Venous and Arterial Stenting, Venous and Arterial extremity thrombectomy and limb salvage, Body Arteriography, Prostate and Uterine artery embolization, Gonadal vein Embolization, Uterine Fibroid Embolization, Gastric tube placement, Biliary/Chole tube placement, Y90 , Chemo Embolization, Nephrostomy and Ureteral stenting, Dialysis Graft/Fistula stenting, Pseudoaneurysm treatment, Vertebral Body Biopsy
Travel Reimbursements:
Flights - $750/round trip cap (to include all taxes and fees)
Lodging - $179/night cap for hotels (to include all taxes and fees). Preferred Lodging: Candlewood Suites Boise - Towne Square, an IHG Hotel.
Rental Car - To be reimbursed by facility (not to be used with personal car/mileage reimbursement). $50/day cap (including all taxes and fees) regardless of car class. SUV/upgrades over cap will need to be preapproved (will only be approved if needed for inclement weather).
Mileage - IRS Standard Rate to be reimbursed by facility (only to be used with personal vehicle, not to be used with rental car).
