Job Title

Job Overview: Pay Range: $81.32hr - $86.32hr

Responsibilities

• Lead the consolidation of financial results across multiple subsidiaries, including the preparation of consolidated financial statements.
• Perform intercompany eliminations, top-side adjustments, and reconciliation of consolidated balances.
• Prepare assigned sections of financial statement documentation and support external regulatory filings.
• Analyze supporting disclosure data to ensure compliance with GAAP requirements and review XBRL tagging.
• Prepare and support external financial reporting activities.
• Contribute to internal management reports, including reports provided to executive leadership and board members.
• Ensure internal financial reporting policies and procedures are followed and maintained.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the completeness and accuracy of financial reporting.
• Conduct accounting research related to financial reporting requirements and document findings for position papers.
• Review and assess the impact of new regulations, guidance, and publications issued by regulatory bodies on financial reporting activities.
• Lead the implementation of new accounting and disclosure standards and communicate results to stakeholders.
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial reporting operations.

Requirements

• CPA or equivalent certification.
• Experience interpreting and applying Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Strong financial reporting and consolidation experience.
• Experience preparing and reviewing financial disclosures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualification And Education

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or equivalent certification required.
• Experience with Uniform System of Accounts under Federal Energy Regulatory Commission preferred.
