Advanced Manufacturing/Production Operator

Our DoD/Aerospace Client is looking to fill an Advanced Manufacturing / Production Operator position supporting mission-critical defense and aerospace programs. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the fabrication, assembly, integration, testing, and refurbishment of advanced electronic and mechanical systems in a production and manufacturing environment. The position is based in Scottsdale, Arizona and is on-site. Location: Scottsdale, AZ Position: Advanced Manufacturing / Production Operator Contract Length: 12-24 Months (Potential for Direct Hire) Pay: $24.99/hour Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent required; minimum 4 years of relevant experience Schedule: First Shift Clearance Requirement: Must be eligible for access to classified information; U.S. citizenship required Position Overview As the Advanced Manufacturing / Production Operator, you’ll be responsible for performing moderately complex production assembly, fabrication, inspection, integration, testing, rework, and refurbishment activities on electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies. You will support prototype, pre-production, and production hardware builds while working from engineering drawings and schematics. In this role, you will perform wiring, component installation, hand soldering, cable harnessing, hardware integration, electrical testing, and inspection activities on assemblies such as modules, boards, panels, frames, drawers, and cables. Your work will directly support the delivery of high-quality hardware used in advanced defense and aerospace systems. What You Bring to the Table High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum 4 years of relevant manufacturing, production, assembly, or hardware experience Experience performing production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies Ability to read and interpret moderately complex schematics, drawings, and technical documentation Experience with wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing Ability to perform fabrication, inspection, integration, and electrical testing activities Experience loading and configuring customer or standard software on customer devices Ability to accurately complete manufacturing process paperwork and enter data into work order management systems Solid computer skills Strong communication and time management skills Knowledge of measuring equipment, test equipment, and applied mathematics Previous wire bonding and die bonding experience U.S. citizenship required Ability to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information Ability to undergo a U.S. Government security investigation if selected What Sets You Apart MIL-STD-883 certification Creative problem-solving skills and ability to multitask Commitment to ongoing professional development Experience working effectively in collaborative team environments Interest in applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to improve manufacturing processes and operational efficiency About Our Client Our client is a mission-critical DoD/Aerospace defense contractor developing solutions that lead, serve, and protect our nation.
