Previous oncology experience is welcomed but not required.

Your Impact

As a Physical Therapist, you will:

• Evaluate and treat patients experiencing functional limitations related to cancer, cancer treatments, chronic pain, fatigue, deconditioning, neurologic conditions, and other medically complex diagnoses.
• Develop individualized treatment plans designed to improve function, mobility, endurance, and quality of life.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions, including:
• Therapeutic exercise
• Functional mobility training
• Neuromuscular re-education
• Cancer rehabilitation and prehabilitation
• Chronic pain management strategies
• Endurance and conditioning programs
• Aquatic therapy
• Community reintegration activities
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and caregivers on symptom management, energy conservation, mobility, and wellness strategies.
• Contribute to the continued growth and development of an expanding specialty rehabilitation program.

Qualifications

Required

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Current Tennessee Physical Therapist license or license eligible

Preferred

• Experience in outpatient physical therapy
• Experience treating medically complex patient populations
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
• Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care
• Passion for collaboration and professional growth
