Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM; 36 or 48-hour weekly contracts available; contract lengths of 13–26 weeks; weekend coverage required (4 shifts per 4 weeks); floating required as needed

Highlights:

• Comprehensive cardiac telemetry experience with diverse patient diagnoses including Atrial Fibrillation, CHF, ACS, CAD, and post-cardiac surgical patients
• Exposure to advanced procedures including CABG, TAVR, Watchman, carotid endarterectomy, and post-electrophysiology care
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6 with strong interdisciplinary support from pharmacy, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and more
• Epic charting system with 24-hour orientation period to support successful onboarding
• First-time travelers welcome with appropriate cardiac experience
• Opportunity to work with specialized equipment including arterial lines, femoral sheaths, TR bands, chest tubes, and epicardial pacing wires

Requirements:

• Active RN license (North Carolina or Compact state license)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of cardiac nursing experience required
• Medical-Surgical/Telemetry/Step-Down experience strongly preferred
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start date
• Willingness to work holidays and provide storm/hurricane team coverage as needed
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
