Medical Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

3x12-hour shifts, Days, from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM.

As a Medical Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in an acute care setting. You will be responsible for monitoring patients, administering medications, managing patient records, and collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients and develop care plans based on their needs.
• Monitor vital signs and manage telemetry patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care accurately in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and families on health management and care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry unit.
• Current South Carolina RN license or multi-state compact license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIH certification preferred.
• Telemetry competency is required; previous charge experience and community hospital experience are preferred.
