Warehouse Worker & Truck Driver

Receives, sorts, prices and prepares donated items for display in the store; determines suitability and pricing of items based on established standards; assists in maintaining the orderliness and cleanliness of the warehouse area. Prepares donated items, not suitable for display in store, to be processed through the salvage program which includes operating, inventorying, and maintaining textile bailer.

Other responsibilities include assisting in answering the telephone, providing general information and recording messages, preparing receipts for donations, driving Salvation Army vehicle for donation pickups when needed, assisting customers with loading purchases, locking/unlocking yard gate and assisting customers with items in yard, and performing other duties as assigned.

Education and experience: High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred but not required, and one year experience driving a heavy-duty truck or large van, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Certifications/licenses: Valid State Driver's License
