About the Position

Registered Nurse - ICU

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour day shifts, 36 or 48 hours per week, floating to PCU as needed, weekends and holidays as needed

Hours per Week: 36 & 48

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide critical care to patients in a 20-bed ICU with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Monitor and manage ventilators, ICP, and hemodynamic status
• Administer medications and interventions per protocols
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float to PCU as needed to support unit operations
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication with patients and families

Knowledge & Skills

• Ventilator management
• ICP monitoring
• Hemodynamic monitoring
• Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) preferred
• BSN preferred

Requirements

• 2 years of current Critical Care experience required
• Willingness to float required
• Active Massachusetts RN license required
• Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification required
• Must have own vehicle for commuting
