About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Accounting Officer to serve as a senior Finance leader with a global focus. The successful candidate will be responsible for the company's accounting, external reporting, internal controls, and compliance environment. This role involves leading the accounting organization, overseeing various accounting processes, and ensuring adherence to US GAAP, SEC requirements, and regulatory standards. The Chief Accounting Officer will also be a key partner to the CFO and cross-functional leaders, providing technical accounting leadership, and supporting strategic growth initiatives. Additionally, the role includes driving finance transformation, operational excellence, and talent development within the global accounting team. Applicants for the Chief Accounting Officer position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, a CPA or equivalent professional qualification, and a minimum of 15 years' of experience in accounting and finance leadership, with at least 10 years' in a senior role. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of US GAAP, SEC reporting, SOX, and complex technical accounting matters, particularly in the context of global and regulated industries. Experience in M&A, divestitures, and leading finance transformation initiatives is essential. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to operate effectively in a matrixed, global environment.
