About the Position

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:30 - 16:00) Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Kansas license if ARRT Certifications: ARRT R, BLS, CCI RCIS Must-Have: - Valid licenses in hand for submission. - BLS, CCI, or ARRT required. Description: Responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures in the catheterization lab. Experience in cardiac catheterization along with interventional radiology is preferred. Familiarity with angioplasty, stent placement, and catheter management is necessary. Ability to perform emergency and non-emergency procedures such as pacemaker insertions and thoracentesis. Experience with accessing and managing ports is required. Competence in monitoring patients accurately throughout procedures is a must. Candidates should have familiarity with advanced imaging techniques and equipment in the cath lab setting. Ability to work effectively within a team and provide quality patient care is essential. Willingness to float to like units as needed based on facility requirements. Candidates should possess skills in rhythm interpretation and hemodynamic monitoring. Knowledge of special equipment used in cath labs and interventional radiology fields is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for interacting with patients and medical staff. Dedication to maintaining a sterile field and adhering to safety protocols is crucial.
