About Alinia
We are an early-stage AI startup on a mission to enable the safe and compliant deployment of AI Agents in regulated industries, worldwide, through our Regulatory Guardrails & Auditing platform. We ensure conversational AI agents adhere to companies’ business policies and regulations at scale, like Investment Guard .
We envision a future where compliance is encoded in any autonomous system, steered by human experts. The goal is to augment compliance experts’ capabilities, empowering them to become key enablers in the deployment of AI Agents in the most critical scenarios at scale.
Co-founders Ari and Carlos come from leading ML platform at Twitter and LLM governance at Hugging Face.
If you’re passionate about applying your regulatory and compliance expertise for the development of cutting-edge AI technology — and thrive in fast-moving, high-ownership environments — we’d love to hear from you. We are looking for individuals in early career stages who are mission-driven and dare to embrace the challenge.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct preliminary analysis of candidate Regulatory Guards to prioritize based on identified requirements from regulatory research, customer feedback, and market direction.
- Data annotation to evaluate and optimize our models.
- Stress testing of our existing regulatory guards.
- Collaborate with applied researchers to design and refine regulation-specific datasets for model optimization.

- Proven academic path in regulated industries (e.g. fintech, health) and/or AI.
- Proficiency in English
- Strong interest in Large Language Models and AI Agents. Tech-curious and product-savvy. We don’t need a coder, but someone passionate about technical conversations, tech implementation and innovation.

- LLM/Master/PhD in Financial Law or related field

What We Offer
- Competitive compensation during internship period
- Remote or hybrid work environment, with co-working spaces in New York, Barcelona and Valencia.
