Role: Java Tech Lead

\n

Location: Pittsburgh, PA(Onsite)

Role Descriptions: A Java Technical Lead oversees software engineering teams| designs enterprise architecture| and maintains hands-on development for Java-based applications.

\n

Role Summary Core Focus:

\n

Bridges high-level system architecture with daily software execution| code quality| and team mentorship.

\n

Experience Required:

\n

Typically 5 to 10+ years of software development experience with Java/J2EE and at least 13 years in a formal or informal leadership role.

\n

Education:

\n

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science| Software Engineering| Information Technology| or a related field.

\n

Key Responsibilities Architecture & Design: Plan application architecture| design scalable microservices| and ensure adherence to enterprise standards.

\n

Team Leadership & Mentoring: Guide| coach| and mentor junior and senior developers| conduct code reviews| and manage technical workflows.

\n

Hands-On Development: Write clean| testable| and efficient code| troubleshoot production issues| and optimize application performance.

\n

Agile & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers| QA teams| and stakeholders to estimate projects| plan sprints| and mitigate technical risks.

\n

DevOps & Cloud Integration: Oversee CI/CD pipelines| containerization (Docker| Kubernetes)| and cloud infrastructure (such as AWS).

\n

Required Skills & Tech Stack Programming Languages: Java (Core & Advanced Java| JVM internals| Multithreading)| Kotlin or C# (in some hybrid roles).

\n

Frameworks & Libraries: Spring Boot| Spring MVC| Spring Reactive (WebFlux)| Hibernate| J2EE/Java EE.

\n

APIs & Messaging: RESTful APIs| SOAP| JSON| XML| Kafka| JMS.

\n

DevOps & Tools: Git| Jenkins| Maven| Docker| Kubernetes| AWS or other cloud platforms.

\n

Databases & Practices: SQL| Oracle| PL/SQL| Microservices architecture| TDD/BDD| and Agile/Scrum methodologies
