Leads through expertise and influence (non-people-manager), owning the GitHub platform ecosystem and AI-assisted developer tooling to deliver faster, safer, and more productive software development.Defines enterprise strategy for AI-assisted tools-GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, and emerging solutions-in partnership with KP's AI Council and Enterprise Architecture. Designs and executes hands-on proofs of concept evaluating technical fit, security posture, and developer impact, collaborating with Information Security, Privacy, and Legal on risk and compliance. Delivers actionable adoption or retirement recommendations and operationalizes approved platforms under established standards.Owns GitHub Enterprise and AI tool platforms, defining standards, best practices, and guardrails enabling scalable, secure DevSecOps and AI-assisted workflows. Establishes governance, usage policies, lifecycle management, cost and chargeback models, and budget transparency, while managing vendor relationships, contracts, renewals, and roadmap alignment.Acts as developer advocate-leading training, enablement, documentation, and communities of practice, and representing developer needs to stakeholders.
