Santa Barbara County Department of Behavioral Wellness is county based and offers a variety of programs including child and adult mental health, substance abuse, and community engagement. They are focused on building and sustaining community collaboration and a partnership culture as guiding principles for Santa Barbara County behavioral health. They seek to build and sustain a partnership culture that empowers clients, families, and community-based organizations.


Psychiatric Health Facility (PHF)

• 16-bed inpatient unit
• Provides treatment for adults 18 years of age and older
• 7 on - 7 off rotating schedule
• 7 AM - 7 PM
• No overnight call
• Work with a collaborative group of psychiatrists, that truly work as a team
• EMR - SmartCare
