The unit consists of multiple beds with a specific patient ratio to ensure quality care. Staffing includes a mix of experienced nurses and support staff. Common equipment used in the unit is modern and well-maintained. The documentation system utilized is Meditech. Nurses may be required to float to other units as needed. The hospital follows a comprehensive attendance policy. Additional helpful information includes the importance of a neat appearance. Scrubs must adhere to the specified color requirements. Nail policies prohibit artificial nails and gel nails for safety reasons. Hair must be clean and neatly styled, with no extreme colors or styles. Beards and mustaches should be well-groomed.
