About the Position

Job Title: X-Ray Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: X-Ray Tech Duration: 20 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: NC or Compact license pending acceptable for submission Certifications: ARRT R, BLS Must-Have: Community hospital experience is required. Traveler experience accepted for first-time travelers. Experience in adult acute care, adult outpatient, bedside/portable procedures, emergency department, ICU, and operating room. Description: RTO after booking is not allowed. Any call-offs or additional RTO may result in a cancellation. The weekend schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The expected start date is subject to change based on schedule and trainer availability. Travelers must be fully available with no other commitments. Missing any portion of orientation may delay or cancel the start. The final start date will be confirmed on the Tuesday prior to the start week. Candidates must be prepared to work the expected volume of procedures per day. The candidate must possess skills in various areas including abdomen GI, chest, fluoroscopy studies, head, lower extremity, mobile/surgical skills, preparation and administration of contrast media, spine and pelvis, and upper extremity. Required equipment experience includes GE OEC C-Arm and CareStream Portable. Must demonstrate proficiency in diagnostics and specialized testing. This is an acute care facility with a full-service radiology department, except for interventional radiology. The department performs a significant number of procedures regularly. Submit availability for interviewing promptly to avoid delays in the approval process. Candidates must be open to floating within or near the facility as described. Travel pairs are allowed but must be disclosed. References can be provided at submission. Pre-start modules are non-billable and must be completed.
