If you want to make an impact on a global scale, come make a difference at Fiserv.About Your RoleAs a Senior IT Manager, you will lead a high-performing development team responsible for delivering and supporting critical mainframe applications that power essential business and client operations. You will combine strong leadership, technical expertise, and operational oversight to drive technology delivery, support strategic initiatives, and ensure operational excellence across a complex enterprise environment.What You'll Do:Lead, coach, and develop a team of mainframe developers, engineers, and technical analysts responsible for application delivery, production support, and platform stabilityOversee the full lifecycle of technology initiatives, from planning and design through implementation, deployment, and ongoing supportManage team capacity, workload prioritization, resource allocation, and delivery commitments to ensure successful execution of strategic objectivesPartner with business stakeholders, product owners, project managers, and application development teams to identify business needs and deliver effective technology solutionsDrive operational excellence by monitoring application performance, production support activities, service levels, and delivery outcomesEnsure adherence to enterprise architecture standards, governance processes, security requirements, and development best practicesIdentify and mitigate delivery, operational, and technical risks while proactively communicating status, issues, and dependencies to stakeholdersFoster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing culture focused on continuous improvement, innovation, quality, and customer satisfactionExperience You'll Need To Have:8+ years of experience leading software development or IT teams5+ years of hands-on mainframe technology experience in MVS, CICS, COBOL, JCL, MQ, etc.5+ years of experience in managing scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk and critical delivery managementBachelor's degree in computer science, or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experienceExperience That Would Be Great To Have:Experience within financial services, banking, or card processing environmentsExperience managing application support, technology delivery, or operational teamsFamiliarity with project management methodologies, agile practices, and continuous initiativesHow You'll Work:Fiserv emphasizes in-person collaboration to help you grow your career while shaping the future of fintech, this role is on-site Monday through FridayThis role requires flexibility to work overtime that may include non-standard hours and weekendsThis role requires use of a computer and audio equipmentTravel:Approximately 0-5% travel off-site or to other office locations is expectedSponsorship:In order to be considered, you must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without need for visa sponsorship now or in the futureThis role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Nevada, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, Maine or Washington.It is unlawful to discriminate against a prospective employee due to the individual's status as a veteran.Please note that salary ranges provided for this role on external job boards are salary estimates made by outside parties and may not be accurate.Thank you for considering employment with Fiserv.
