POSITION: Operational/Clinical Pharmacist

SCHEDULING DETAILS AND CHARTING

Shift Hours: Primarily day shift (8:00 AM 4:00 PM); some evening shifts (3:00 PM 11:00 PM) based on need/shift coverage. Schedule is posted and communicated in advance.

Years of Experience Required: 1 year

Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend

On Call Requirement: No on call

Charting: Epic experience required

RTO, Block & Scheduling Requests: Must be included at the time of submission. Requests after offer will likely not be approved

Call Off Policy: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.

Accept First-Time Travelers: Yes

Locals Accepted: Yes, locals accepted at the same rate.

Holiday Requirement: Holidays required (1 2 based on contract length)

REQUIRED LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS

Active NJ State Pharmacist License required at time of submission

REQUIRED CLINICAL SKILLS

Operational Pharmacy: Reviews, verifies, and dispenses medication orders; prepares sterile and hazardous medications per USP standards; manages controlled substances; completes medication histories, reconciliation, and patient education

Clinical Pharmacy: Performs clinical interventions; monitors therapy for optimal outcomes; provides drug information to healthcare teams and patients

*Preferred: Experience with Pyxis and carousel technology

Scrubs: Scrubs or business casual, any color

Floating: No floating required

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be fully vaccinated to include COVID booster (Medical/Religious Exemptions only)
