Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Location

Pomona, CA | Acute Care Hospital

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room environment within an acute care hospital setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across varying acuity levels
• Document patient information and clinical care accurately using Cerner electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Adhere to facility dress code, infection control standards, and all compliance requirements throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active, valid RN state license (no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, MAB, and NIHSS
• Must be available to work weekends as required
• COVID vaccination status must be provided at time of submission
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Magnet-designated, teaching, or Level II Trauma Center facility
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records system
• Comfort working in a high-acuity, high-volume emergency department
