Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse location unspecified. This role involves providing high-quality, fast-paced adult and pediatric emergency care within a level I trauma facility. The position requires handling adult and pediatric patients, performing admission work, and supporting various operational needs in a dynamic ER environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Florida or Compact license, current AHS ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), and CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certifications prior to start date; at least 2 years of ER experience including prior travel experience at a level 1 trauma facility; minimum of 2 years of ER experience; prior experience with Cerner electronic medical record system; ability to pass an EKG exam during orientation; must have level I trauma experience; must be able to handle admission work for boarded patients
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a high acuity, adult and pediatric emergency department; prior travel experience in a similar fast-paced environment
• Additional Information: The ER features 60 exam rooms, four resuscitation rooms, six triage rooms, and 12 fast-track rooms. Facility includes a second-floor patient care area with observation and acute care rooms, onsite radiology suite, and an onsite pharmacy. Staff may be required to float as needed. All required RTO (Request for Time Off) must be included at submission.
