Position Summary Specialist Lead, Global Mobility and Immigration - Relocation Services The Specialist Lead, Global Mobility and Immigration - Relocation Services leads the end-to-end domestic and international relocation experience for Deloitte professionals. This role manages a portfolio of relocation cases, applies policy and compliance requirements, coordinates internal and external partners, resolves escalations, and improves processes to deliver accurate, timely, and employee-focused outcomes. The team The Relocation Services team administers the firm’s domestic and international relocation programs. The team coordinates real estate services, household goods, policy administration, vendor activities, expense reimbursement, and related support to deliver compliant, efficient, and employee-centered moves. Key responsibilities Manage domestic and international relocation cases from intake and eligibility review through execution, expense reconciliation, and closure.Develop case plans that address move type, employee needs, location-specific requirements, documentation, timelines, dependencies, and compliance steps.Serve as the primary point of contact for relocating professionals, providing clear guidance and setting expectations throughout the move.Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, counsel, finance, and other partners to remove blockers and meet service commitments.Review relocation expenses and invoices for policy compliance, documentation, coding accuracy, tax considerations, and required approvals.Track costs, reconcile move expenses, resolve discrepancies, and maintain complete, audit-ready records.Apply relocation policies, operating standards, and compliance guardrails consistently while balancing employee experience, speed, cost, and risk.Create and maintain program materials, process documentation, communications, checklists, trackers, and job aids.Monitor policy, regulatory, vendor, and process changes; assess implications; and recommend timely updates.Lead process improvements that reduce handoffs, rework, cycle time, and recurring service or cost issues.Manage relocation projects, workstreams, milestones, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.Prepare concise reporting for leadership on portfolio status, risks, costs, deadlines, decisions, and recommended actions.Build trusted relationships with employees, leaders, Global Mobility colleagues, counsel, vendors, finance teams, and other stakeholders. Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree.At least 6 years of related business experience in the relocation industry, including U.S. domestic relocation practices.Experience with relocation expense reimbursement, accounts payable, invoice processing, and financial reconciliation.Experience leading projects or workstreams and collaborating across concurrent initiatives with internal and external stakeholders.Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and relationship-management skills, including the ability to communicate clearly with senior leaders.Ability to work independently, collaborate across teams, prioritize competing demands, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality work.Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.Ability to travel 0–10%, on average, based on the work performed and the clients, industries, or sectors served. Preferred Certified Relocation Professional (CRP) and/or Global Mobility Specialist (GMS) designation.Experience with relocation databases and platforms, including Servicengine and Equus.Experience preparing regular reporting for leadership tied to deliverables, risks, costs, and deadlines.
