Respiratory Therapist - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position. The schedule is from 19:00 to 07:00.

Location: Anchorage, Alaska

Job Description: We are seeking a qualified and experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our Respiratory Therapy unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing respiratory care and treatment for patients of all ages, from neonates to adults. The position requires expertise in various ventilator management and respiratory therapy techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and manage ventilators for a range of patients.
• Administer high-flow oxygen in NICU settings.
• Provide nebulizer treatments and additional respiratory therapies.
• Utilize Nitric Oxide and Flolan Therapy as needed.
• Conduct BiPAP and Bubble CPAP treatments.
• Perform EKGs and monitor patient respiratory status.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current licensure as a CRT/RRT.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Experience in ER/CCU, NICU, and Level 2 EKG is required.
