CNC Operator

CNC Operator Needed For Leading Manufacturing Company Job details: Salary: $20 - $30 per hour A bit about us: My client is a leading manufacturing company who is growing! They are looking to add CNC Operators to their team! Why join us? Compensation Up To $30/hr Responsibilities:

1. Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc.
2. Translate engineering drawings and requirements into dimensions for production.
3. Ensure the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company.
4. Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result.
5. Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly.
6. Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality.
7. Read and interpret technical blueprints and design models.
8. Load raw materials into the CNC machines.
9. Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc.
10. Test and maintain machine tools periodically to ensure their longevity and safe operation.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Operator or in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
2. In-depth knowledge of the mechanics of CNC machines.
3. Strong understanding of blueprints and technical designs.
4. Proficiency in using precision measurement tools.
5. Strong mathematical skills and mechanical aptitude.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. High school diploma or equivalent; certificate or diploma in engineering or relevant discipline is a plus.
10. Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items.
